No. Indian Bell and Hop Tung are two separate restaurants that share one building at 4108 N. 10th St, Ste 200, McAllen, TX. Indian Bell serves Indian food — with its menu by Hop Tung — and Hop Tung serves Chinese and Vietnamese food.
Biryani is layered raw-marinated meat or vegetables with partially cooked basmati rice in a sealed pot, then cooked together over low heat so the rice absorbs spices from the layer below — that's the "from the pot" method on our menu. Fried rice starts from already-cooked rice, stir-fried with other ingredients afterward. Indian Bell serves both: biryani from the pot, and fried rice on the Indo-Chinese menu.
